OR Tambo’s clean bill of health!

The Airports Council International (ACI) has awarded OR Tambo International airport with an airport health accreditation. Their Airport Health Accreditation (AHA) was developed to ensure airports align their health, safety and hygiene practices with that of the ACI Aviation Business Restart and Recovery guidelines along with guidelines and recommendations from the International Civil Aviation Organization. These guidelines were put in place as ‘best practise’ with regulations from the World Health Organisation (WHO) in mind.
Receiving this accreditation means that the airport has adhered to the best practices in:
