One week until Africa’s biggest trade show

Over the past few years awareness has been raised to consider South Africa as the ideal destination to increase business locally. During a meeting earlier this month, SA Tourism CEO, Sisa Ntshona, stated their ultimate mission is to “sell our country as a business events destination of choice”.

At the Meetings Africa 2019 Trade Show held from 25 to 27 February at the Sandton Convention Centre, the challenges that Africa currently face are top on the agenda. The effects and changes that result from the challenges, will be a further point of discussion.

The event aims to showcase Africa’s diverse offering of services and products.

The big question being posed at this year’s conference; what will it take to inspire more tourism business across the African continent? It is without a doubt that Africa possesses competitive advantages that set it apart in the tourism industry.
