Your own, private beachfront bungalow with an infinity pool and day area, an outdoor kitchen, cabana and a dedicated service team – wellness at its best in Mozambique, at the soon-to-open Kisawa Sanctuary.
The resort offers grouped bungalows for teams of people visiting the resort together – these grouped bungalows feature larger swimming pools, decks and day areas.
Guests can have in-bungalow dining experiences or visit the Barraca restaurant which serves traditional Mozambican dishes with south Indian flavours.
The Natural Wellness Centre specialises in Chinese medicine and Ayurvedic therapies as well as massage, reiki, meditation and yoga. A Japanese Iyashi (“healing”) dome sauna uses gentle infrared heat and Pilates is available.
Creative director and philanthropist of Kisawa Sanctuary, Nina Flohr, also recently launched Africa’s first permanent ocean observatory, the Bazaruto Center for Scientific Studies, that offer visitors diving expeditions with marine scientists.
The soft launch of the resort took place in April, but their full grand opening is scheduled for July.
