Club Travel voted ‘South Africa’s Leading Travel Agency’ for a third time

Club Travel maintained its winning streak and triumphed once again at the World Travel Awards 2016. After being an annual recipient of the World Travel Awards since 2007, this past Saturday saw Club Travel being named both ‘South Africa’s Leading Travel Agency’ for the third consecutive year, along with taking home the award for ‘South Africa’s Leading Travel Management Company’.

The prestigious awards ceremony took place at Diamonds La Gemma dell ‘Est resort in Zanzibar. Acting as hosts on the night wereAfrican film star Abby Plaatjies and Tanzanian radio personality Taji George Liundi. Guests were also entertained by Italian opera sensation laria Della Bidia, contortionist Erika Lemay and a traditional Ngoma drum group, who all gave memorable performances.

Hailed as the travel industry’s highest honour,the World Travel Awards brand is recognised globally as a trademarkof quality, with winners setting the benchmark to which all others aspire. This accolade is granted as a special honour or as an acknowledgment of excellence across all sectors. The winners are voted for by travel and tourism professionals and consumers worldwide.
