Airlink has since launched a daily direct air service reconnecting Johannesburg with Windhoek, as well as reactivating routes between Cape Town and Windhoek, and Johannesburg and Walvis Bay.

CEO of Airlink, Roger Foster told the Association of Southern African Travel Agents,  “We can’t wait to re-establish this important connection between South Africa’s and Namibia’s main economic hubs and enable all-important trade, business and tourism between what are two very closely connected markets”.

Other connections that could assist corporate travellers – available through Airlink –  include George, Port Elizabeth, East London, Bloemfontein, Upington, Kimberley, Polokwane, Hoedspruit, Nelspruit, Skukuza, Pietermaritzburg and Mthatha.
